ABSTRACT
Issachar and Benjamin...
are two of the Twelve Tribes of Israel. Issachar is "the strong-boned ass" and is hiding in the reeds behind tablets. The tent and a snake, and a river can be found in the design as well.
Benjamin is referred to as "the ravenous wolf" who is hiding in the grass with his prey with the interlocking circles which is a spiritual icon.
